It’s not all about the destination,
although those are pretty spectacular around here.
Winslow’s Remembrance Garden honors the events of September 11, 2001, with a solemn and moving memorial. Located at East 3rd Street and Transcon Lane (Exit 255 off I-40), the garden’s centerpiece features two towering beams from the World Trade Center, measuring 14 and 15 feet. These significant artifacts, entrusted to Winslow by the City of New York, are the largest pieces given to any community, serving as a powerful reminder that “we will never forget.”
